Los reyes magos

The three wise men are celebrated throughout spain and each town has it's own parade on the 5th of December. That night the three kings bring the gifts to each home for the children to open up on the 6th.
I was in Estepa to see the parade and it was everything I thought it would be, plus pure chaotic magic.
When you put children on top of a float with a never ending supply of stuff to throw at people,
what do you think is going to happen?

just a glimpse of the general event.
Spanish pride & caramelos.
Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum, On my drum?
look at that stare.
the goods included:
two aprons, animal puzzles, cigarette holders, baby clothes, 7 calendars, and a lot of sugar.
Olé.

Malmö, Sweden

Some snap shots from Christmas eve, Christmas and days surrounding.

 What Wilma does best.

Kalle Anka och hans vänner önskar God Jul: Donald duck and his friends wish you a Merry Christmas.
On December 24th at 3 pm half of sweden sits down to watch this hour long commercial free broadcast.
Not gonna lie, a pretty weird tradition but regardless I am glad to have seen it.

Christmas day in Lund, Sweden.
Picturesque.

 Christmas lunch.
A bit on the pathetic side but the only place that was open on Christmas day.

In Falsterbo, walking around the beautiful and frozen shore.

The Turning Torso.
It's CRAZY tall and made me a little dizzy looking at it.

They missed the memo.

winter break sneak peak!

it's been a little while since my last post, whoops!
so heres a a bit of my holiday.

sweden is beautiful, but also cold, very very cold.
I heard time and time again, "it's better in the summer."
Which is not something you want to hear when it's not summer time.
Although it gives me hope and I can't wait to check it out for myself in the warmer months.
