Here I am.

It’s been about 6 days since I left the US and began my adventure to Spain. Traveling is my favorite thing of all time, I think. Even though it’s really not always actually fun in between the no sleep, tight spaces, layovers, heavy luggage, and in a continued state of confusion, I love it. It makes me smile (almost) the entire time.
I’ve met some great people. From the fellow travelers in Malaga to the first Viejo (out of many) that there are in Estepa who proceeded to ask every bystander that passed by how to get me a cab. Really great especially since the entire town is on a hill, and by hill... I mean, the side of a mountain… and by mountain I mean, you should see the view from our rooftop terrace.

So Friday the first is orientation and that’s where it all really starts. So I can start figuring out life and how much traveling I can get in as soon as possible. A bit nervous for school and orientation and teaching high schoolers but it should be good. Any advice out there from anyone who has experience with high schoolers, let me know.
